The two links below are to the same PPT presentation file. As you will see, this is just a test file with two slides and are for illustration purposes only. The same file was saved as both a PPT file and a PPS file. The PPT file for the presentation is linked on the left and the PPS file for the same presentation is on the right. The instructions for posting PowerPoint presentations in either format are as follows:
This works if you save your ppt presentations as .ppt files OR .pps files. It does not work if you save as a webpage.
1. Go FILE MANAGER at the top of the page
2. Go to UPLOAD VIA pull down menu and select SINGLE FILES
3. BROWSE to find your ppt or pps files and double click.
4. Go to bottom of screen and click on UPLOAD
The presentation files are now in your Tripod file manager.
POSTING A PRESENTATION THAT HAS BEEN UPLOADED TO YOUR FILE MANAGER
1. Highlight the words you want to link to your ppt presentation
2. Click the LINK button
3. Select WEB URL
4. Go FILE MANAGER
5. In the FILE MANAGER window, select the file you want to link, and open that file in FILE MANAGER
6. When the file is open, highlight URL of the file in the address bar in the FILE MANAGER WINDOW
7. Go back to the LINK window where you selected WEB URL. In the text box beside that, COPY/PASTE the URL of the file from the file manager window.
That's all there is to it :)
